WebJun 29, 2004 · I'm using the Trick Flow stage 1 cam with 1.7 roller rockers. The GT40P heads flow a lot better than stock 351 heads. You will have to get special headers to fit these heads since the spark plugs are angled differently than normal 5.0 heads. You will have to address the 50 oz balance of the 5.0 engine by getting a 50 oz flywheel. WebMay 5, 2005 · May 4, 2005. #3. The Ps have a revised angle for the spark plugs that point the plug towards the dead center of the combustion bowl, improving the combustion in the bowl. If you smooth out the bowls and exhaust ports and gasket match the intakes they should flow decent. If you dont feel comfortable doing this higher a pro.
