Today, I decided to give the 93 octane gas a test and see what would happen. My battery hit <1% exactly at the same point it always does which happens to be right at a gas station. Higher octane will always give you worse gas mileage in a low compression engine. The higher the octane the harder it is to ignite. This is done to keep high compression engines from pre detonating.
